I couldn't find the filter locally and finally found it through you on line. It was easily replaced once I had the right filter. Read more

Fixing it was extremely easy, I just followed the instructions provided in the AppliancePartsPros video. After getting the part I simply shut off the water to the fridge, unhooked the part's water lines, unclipped the head inside the fridge, installed the new one and reconnected the lines. After replacing the filter and that not fixing it, I tried other things that ultimately led me to suspect the filter housing. Filter housing is fairly simple with mechanical bypass valve disengaged when you insert the filter. Valve would allow water to flow without filter but placing filter cutoff water completely. New housing did the trick. Read more

I replaced the water filter housing assembly. It was simple to do since your site provided the how-to video. The only snag I ran into was that I had a hard time re-positioning the foam brace under the filter. The space is tight. Would have been easier if I had smaller hands.
