Troubleshot the oven by checking the broiler which worked good (same fuel valve). After reading the some tips about troubleshooting the Glow Ignitor I could see the broiler ignitor got white hot and the oven ignitor only got bright orange (orange to red causes intermittent ignition or mini explosions). Overall the fix wasn't too hard. The challenge was putting the oven door back together and holding it together while trying to tighten the screws. Enlisted my wife's help to hold the door and at first the handle screws wouldn't tighten. My cordless screwdriver's battery was under-charged. Once I switched batteries I was able to tighten the screws. Seemed like I needed to push too hard (my wife freaked "not so hard you will strip them!") however pushing hard was what was needed. I removed the burners and replaced the igniters. The burners must be removed because the igniters go underneath them. This job turned out to be very difficult because my stove is 16 years old and the screws holding down the igniters were completely rusted and bound to the stove top, so I had to drill out all of the screws. • Door won't open after self cleaning cycle

I knew the door latch was suppose to lock for self clean and it wasn't, so I took the back off and after tracing out wires and the linkage to the door latch, determined that it was a faulty motor on the latch lock. Ordered two new springs and clips. Pulled out the bottom drawer and replaced the old spring and the one that had broken. This only took about ten or fifteen minutes and was very easy. Now the door works as it should. Read more

Took down model# and tried to match on website. However there were 5 sub-models. Had to look very carefully at the pictures of the parts. Also, there were 3 different size caps on the range. • Little to no heat when baking

It took 10 minutes and a screwdriver, remember to turn off power to the oven at the fuse box. By the way, I ordered the part at 1:30pm and received it at 12:30pm the next day using normal shipping, not bad. Read more
