This is an upper spray arm mount that is a part of many types of dishwashers. The upper spray arm mount attaches the water supply manifold to the spray arm. This ensures that the water moves from the manifold into the spray arm so it can be used to spray water across dishes during a cycle. If the upper spray arm mount becomes damaged or cracked, it can cause the upper spray arm to fall off. This could create additional damage so the upper spray arm mount should be replaced.If the upper spray arm mount needs to be replaced, it can be done with the help of a 5/16-inch screwdriver. First, make sure the dishwasher is unplugged and the water supply has been turned off. Open up the door to the dishwasher and locate the upper spray arm. The mount will be attached to it. 1. To fix the leaks from around the door, I replaced the upper and lower door seals. These were purchased in a separate transcation, so they are not the parts shown here. The upper door seal worked as intended, but the lower seal would not stay in place on the lower edge of the door during a wash. This genuine OEM part is a refrigerator upper dishrack. The upper dishrack is the tray on which dishes are placed on the top shelf of a dishwasher. If the dishrack is no longer sliding on its tracks, or is not staying in place during the wash cycle, it might need to be replaced. Luckily this is a very simple repair.To replace the upper dishrack, simply pull out the old dish rack and lift it up out of its tracks. Once removed from the dishwasher, take the new dishrack and gently slide it into place.
