The Water Inlet is an OEM part for Bosch dishwashers. This component controls the flow of water into the dishwasher during the wash and rinse cycles. It ensures that the appliance receives the appropriate amount of water necessary for optimal cleaning performance.
Causes of a bad water inlet can include mineral buildup from hard water, wear and tear from regular use, or electrical issues that prevent the valve from opening or closing properly.
Symptoms of a bad water inlet include:
This OEM Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau, and some Kenmore models.
Leak was slow but becoming gradually worse. Pulled dishwasher out from under counter then visually inspected sump while it ran. As soon as the water got very hot, I could see the sump leaking where it meets the stainless pan. Searched for the correct sump gasket without success. Turns out that the gasket is built into the sump for this model. The built-in gasket is very narrow (under-engineered IMHO which is probably why it developed a leak). Thanks to Simon's excellent videos at... Read more
Cracked or broken dishwasher handle? This door handle restores function. Requires removing inner door panel for installation. Video guide available.
In order to replace this, you must remove the "outer door". This service manual is a pretty good reference (page 37): http://members.msaworld.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2017/02/2013-DW-Service-Manual.pdf Note that this specific dishwasher has 12 screws that need to be removed before the outer door can be separated. Once separated, don't even bother trying to push the broken handle out of the front as suggested. You will probably end up damaging the outer door. Instead, take some... Read more
Dishwasher door won't latch or cycle stops mid-wash? This door lock assembly secures the door during cycles. Typical DIY repair in under 30 minutes.
I contacted Appliance Parts Pros online and got troubleshooting advice. The advice I got was invaluable. I used the information I got from them and then ordered the parts they suggested and sure enough, my start problem was solved. The dishwasher is now working great! I was especially impressed with the friendly and professional ordering process from Stephanie C. that really helped with ordering the parts I needed. Read more
Rinse aid leaking or sticky dishes? This dispenser lid seals the rinse aid compartment. Quick 2-minute snap-in replacement fixes leaks and residue issues.
I bought just the replacement lid based on other reviews. The door cost about a third of the whole soap dispenser module but took a chance it was just the lid. Although the part number is the same there was a new flange on the inside of the lid. Would have been nice if Bosch sent the redesigned part to owners. Either way replacement took 2 minutes and the problem is gone Read more

Leaking dishwasher or E15 error code? A worn diverter valve seal allows water to escape during wash cycles. Moderate DIY repair with video guide.
"Watertap" E15 error code indicated leaking. Dried it all out to allow it to run again. Ran dishwasher with front and bottom panels off to get a visual on leak causing the styrofoam float to set off the code. Saw it was coming from the diverter area. Ordered this assembly -- which DOES include the seal ring, by the way -- pulled dishwasher all the way out to replace it, and VOILA. No more leaking or error code. (This took a few days to analyze and receive the part, so in the meantime we... Read more
Secures the tine row assembly inside your dishwasher rack. Replace this small plastic holder if it's broken, cracked, or missing to prevent wobbly tines.
I looked carefully at why this one row of tines might be wobbly and saw that the row of tines next to it was secured by these little plastic pieces that just seemed to snap on. So I Googled "parts for Bosch dishwashers" and Appliance Parts Pros popped up. I called the number on the website and the very nice person who worked on the phone asked for the serial number on the door of the dishwasher. Then I described what I needed. She identified it by my description. I ordered it, it arrived,... Read more

Got new replacement spring and cord for our Bosch compact dishwasher. A plastic retaining bracket that held the old spring also was broke but the new spring had its own piece that fit into a slot in the plastic frame, so i just popped it in there, connected the cord, and bingo. The door now works. I tried using the old spring, but it would not work because of the broke bracket. Read more
The Nut is an OEM component specifically designed for Bosch dishwashers. It secures the retaining clip housing of the rubber sump gasket in place at the base of the dishwasher's interior tub walls. Proper tightening prevents leaks and water damage. Causes of a bad nut can involve stripping of threads from constant vibrations during heavy wash cycles over many years. Corrosion may also weaken metal connections exposed to moisture. This OEM part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau, and some Kenmore dishwasher models.
Kept getting water in the water pan of my Bosch 800 dishwasher. Appliance company wanted $1000 to change out an entire pump system. I determined the leak was from this nut and seal. Replaced and no more water! Read more
Replace your dishwasher's right door hinge lever if bent, broken, or causing door misalignment. Installs on the lower right side for proper door support.
It was surprisingly easy to remove the door, remove the hinges, then install the new hinges. On my model, the right hinge has a wiring harness attached, but I just removed from the old hinge and attached it to the new one. You need to be careful about moving the door too far the the cabinet because of attached wires. I needed a torx bit for the screws and a flathead screwdriver for prying the hinges off their pins. Also, a needle-nose pliers helped for pinching the wiring harness clip to... Read more
Dishwasher leaking from the bottom or won't drain? The sump assembly collects and channels water to the pump. Moderate DIY repair with video guide.
Supplies water from household plumbing to your dishwasher. Replace if cracked, leaking, damaged by rodents, or stripped threads at connection points.
Water backing up into your dishwasher tub after draining? The check valve prevents dirty drain water from flowing back in. Moderate DIY repair.
It finally gave E15 code, then after drying out the E15 code came back within 5 minutes of running. I dried out the base then I ran the dishwasher and observed water coming down the overflow chute after running only 5 minutes. There is a water inlet (clear water chamber on the side of the machine). It had some gunk inside that was stopping a black float shut-off from moving. I replaced the water inlet chamber. I also suspected the non return valve (also called a check valve). From the parts...
