Easy fix for broken front panel Eric Y. • Marietta , GA • May 13, 2016
After 8 years of yanking to open our Bosch dishwasher (SHE45M06UC/50 model #) the plastic front panel cover started to break off (one of the tabs on the left side broke off). The shipping was super-fast, so got the part within 2 business days. Just need to remove the lower Torx screws (3 on each side) which hold the lower front panel to the dishwasher to get access to the screws holding on the control panel, swap the buttons and silver handle, and replace.

The timer washer knob would not turn the dial assembly. Daniel H. • Deridder , LA • June 12, 2021
I replaced the Timer knob components. Removing the cover that contains the Timer was simpler than I anticipated. Just remove the screws on the top of the back of the machine. Hold the cover and lift up and push to the left (facing the front of the washer). Removed the Timer Knob Clip with small needle-nose pliers. Grasped the Timer and turned counterclockwise to remove and unplugged the wiring clip. The timer is seated to the cover and held securely in place with one screw. I seated the new...

F11 error on my Frigidaire gas range/oven Rebecca T. • Lincoln , NE • November 26, 2019
I googled the error code and symptoms my oven was exhibiting to determine the solution and which parts to order. I needed a new control panel and chose also to replace the overlay that shows on the front of the stove. I could have reused the old one because I turned out to be able to remove it without damaging it. I just kept it in case I damage the new one in the future. The “fast” shipping (not overnight) option had the part delivered the next morning, which was a nice surprise.
I felt...

Genuine Whirlpool part
By: Whirlpool
Part Number: WPW10185970
The Timer is an OEM part for Whirlpool dryers. It controls the electrical components and the timing of the dryer cycles, ensuring that clothes are dried for the appropriate amount of time.
Over time, timers can become faulty due to normal wear and tear, electrical surges, or internal mechanical failure. If the timer motor fails or the contacts inside the timer wear out, it will no longer be able to accurately regulate the dryer’s cycle duration.
Symptoms of a bad timer include:
- Dryer not starting
- Dryer running continuously without advancing through the cycle
- Dryer stopping mid-cycle
- Inaccurate cycle times
This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.

Front door would no longer dispense cold water Marc B. • Port Orange , FL • February 18, 2018
After some simple troubleshooting, determined that it was likely the (rear) main control board. Once the new board arrived, it was installed in 5-10 minutes once the refrigerator was pulled out from the wall and the area cleaned up a bit. My only negative feedback was that delivery was too slow by today's standards. Fedex Post was used and in my experience it usually adds an extra 2-days compared to other ground shipping methods. The part was ordered on Sunday night. It shipped out of...

E5b error code on frigidaire gallery front load washer Michael B. • Seattle , WA • October 26, 2015
This was the motor control board (also called the speed control board, motor control unit, or MCU in various places across the web). The repair was straightforward, except for two complications. First the old part was difficult to access in this model washer (Frigidaire Gallery Series front load washer). Instead of being easy to reach on the left side where there was space, it was sort of behind the actual motor on the right side of the housing. I spent some time trying to figure out...

Timer went in kenmore washer Carrie B. • Schuylerville , NY • December 05, 2014
The repair guy was going to charge me upwards of $225 to replace the timer in my washer, if in fact it was the timer. I decided with Christmas just a month away that there had to be a better way. After speaking with one repairman, and then searching on the internet, I found out the problem with my Kenmore washer was probably the timer. Sears was going to charge me a lot to ship the timer and they wouldn't allow me to return it if after replacing it, it wasn't the problem. So, I got back on...
