With the power to the dishwasher on, I removed the six or seven screws holding the door panel together. With the door separated, I manually moved the switch which should close when the dishwasher latch closes. This illuminated and activated the control panel telling me that the problem was in the door latch. I purchased a new latch from appliance parts pros and installed it. Pop out the old switches with a putty knife pressing down on the tab, grabbed with pliers to pull out, disconnect the wires and connect new switches, pressing back in place. Read more

Appeared to be two problems: the latch was worn and one of the pins that slid in a guide on the actuator located in the inner panel had broke off. Detergent lid spring and pin appeared to be OK but decided to replace since I was aready working on it. I ordered all the inner panel mechanism from the control arm to the latch actuator on the inner panel. The repair was successful as the detergent dispenser now opens during its cycle. Read more

Replacing the inlet valve solved the problem. The old valve was somehow clogged with white sediment. I probably could have taken it off and cleaned it out if I'd known, but replacing the valve was much easier. Took about half an hour to repair. Video walk through was extremely helpful. Based on internet search and data found on APPLIANCE PARTS PRO, I deduced that the "infinite control " module was most likely bad. Replaced it and all is good. Toughest part was remembering how to disengage cooktop from down draft blower and then pulling the cook top up in within it's opening. Checked the three door switches; used ohm meter to see if there was resistance or if a switch was bad. 2 out of 3 switches showed resistance with the ohm meter. The last one tested (of course the last one) NO (normally open) did not show resistance; I.e. the ohm meter reading did not change when the switch was depressed. When starting my dryer the motor would power up and rotoe the drum and blower. Afetr about 20-30 seconds the igniter would come on then the gas valve would open and I would get heat for about 6 or 7 seconds then it would shut off. I know the burner is suppoed to cycle on and off but once the burner shut off it would not come bqack on unless I shut the dryer off and then back on.
