SIMPLY followed the U-2 video posted at Appliance Parts Pros. It was so easy and probably saved us a couple hundred dollars (in parts mark-up and labor) compared to hiring it out.
It was a 10 minute job and it was done.
Jeff
PS. I ordered the part Sunday PM and received the part Tuesday morning...THANKS!

Certain buttons on touch pad membrane (timer most notably) failed Gary E. • Smyrna , GA • March 11, 2016
Replacing the switch membrane restored full function. Relatively easy. Had to pull stove out just a few inches to provide access to two side screws holding control enclosure. Then four screws on bottom edge just above oven door. Then a screw above each burner control. And one screw on the top edge at each corner (right screw additionally holding a ground wire). That allowed the structure to come out. Helper required to hold structure while I worked to unplug the old switch-membrane from...

Re routing microwave exhaust Karissa B. • Brookhaven , GA • October 19, 2015
We bought a house with an over-the-range microwave, which just recirculated air into our house--not effective for smoky meals! We removed the microwave and cut a hole to send the exhaust out the back of the microwave (and out of our house), but realized we were missing this damper and frame that go on the back of the microwave for rear exhaust. The parts fit perfectly and now we can enjoy a smoke-free kitchen!
