I tried to buy a new refigerator, but strangely none of the major stores had anything I wanted in stock. The earliest delivery date for a new unit was over a month away. The most difficult part was figuring out how to take the door off as the manual instructions were not clear. Thank you, YouTube for your help. This door doesn't have the more modern release latches. You open the door all the way and stick Allen wrenches into the holes that appear by the joint of the latch. This is for the Whirlpool in-wall double oven GBD307PDS10. No power and the door locked after the shutdown before the self-cleaning cycle was over. I watched some video and this is a known issue the fuses blow during self-cleaning. I opened the door with a 90-degree hook, an easy task. Toughest part of this repair is figuring out how to get things apart. Amana doesn't provide you a repair manual showing how to disengage the various plastic covers. Initially disassembled the bottom freezer compartment so I could get to the evaporator coils; they were completely frozen in block of ice, restricting air flow to the fridge above. The easiest repair I've ever done. I originally thought (after watching some youtube tutorials) I would need to replace the spring on the flap, but it is not accessible on our Samsung model. Undid the two screws holding the flap to the fridge door, pop it up off the other supports, and un-clip it from the power cord. Put the new flap on the same way and all done! I first verified the house panel circuit breaker was not tripped. It wasn't so I removed the bottom kick plate of the unit, using a circuit cricket I verified the power feed to the unit was live. The bottom kick plate had a trouble shooting guide in a plastic sleeve which I opened and reviewed. Based on information in there it appeared the TOC was likely the issue. • Fridge too warm

The defrost heater element looked good and had continuity. The defrost thermostats checked good, so that just left the Defrost Module as the likely suspect. I installed a new defrost control module and thermostats. The thermostats were inexpensive and the old ones could have been intermittent, The only "tricky" part was finding out how to get to the back screw that holds the main control panel.
