I had an error message on my frigidaire gallery dishwasher er ov Michael S. • Carteret , NJ • July 26, 2014
I had an appliance repair guy come and he told me it was possibly the vent assembly but if changing it didn't fix the problem it would be the control board next. He felt it was not worth the money to repair because he would have to disconnect everything just to get to the vent on the right rear top of the dishwasher. When i took the DW out thinking i had to buy a new one i saw this part was stuck open and covered in limescale deposits and grime.I ordered the part from appliance pros and payed...

Lights and compressor failed to restart after power loss accompanied by clicking sounds Richard G. • Midlothian , VA • March 02, 2021
Ordered two boards which were indicated as the possible problem. I took detailed pictures of each board before removing to assure I was reconnecting all the connections correctly. I used a long set of needle nose pliers to remove each connector. The tricky part was trying to figure out how to remove the boards. So far when I experience a power loss the frigid has successfully restarted. Fingers crossed!!

The refrigerator stopped cooling and front panel was blank. The water and ice wouldn't dispense. The interior lights still worked Forest W. • Traverse City , MI • November 12, 2022
A relay in my refrigerator would periodically click off, causing the compressor motor to stop and the LEDs on the front panel to turn off. This became more frequent until it finally "blanked out" permanently. No cooling, no lights on the front panel, no water or ice, only the inside lights worked.
Isolating the problem to the control board was easy, and replacing the control board was very easy thanks to the videos and previous customer reports available here.
After installing the board, I...

Leaking water Jeffrey M. • Medina , OH • November 15, 2014
I had previously replaced the transmission in my two year old Whirlpool Cabrio washing machine. Overall it was in good shape but gets heavy use. That repair was approximately $200 and worked for several months. Recently it began leaking. At first I thought it was the tub-to-shaft seal. I replaced this part but it was still leaking. It turns out it was the simplest of things... The drain hose was not connected very well! I replaced the drain hose ($11 part) and while I was at it I...

Leaking water from bottom of washer found hose cracked just below the tub Terry S. • Morgan Hill , CA • April 23, 2014
I replaced the hose between the tub and the pump. The clamp screws were quite rusted but I used a socket wrench on them since they have hex heads in addition to the screwdriver slot. If I had tried to use a screwdriver, I think it would have been difficult. I did not reuse the original clamps but replaced them with hardware store hose clamps.

I first received the quality parts in less than 2 days. It took me 5 minutes to change out the timer and 2 of the minutes were finding where my fiancée put the Phillips head screwdriver. Good ole Maryland with its 70 degree weather one day and a snow storm the next! 55 mph winds do not have any sympathy with above-ground transformers in a snows storm. The transformer blew - partially... then kept popping causing multiple surges to our homes AND electronics. Power was restored several hours later, however my fridge was not working.
