Spoke to a parts pro and told them of the problem. there were 2 possibilieies from the explanation of what the parts do. onw could have been the Range oven igniter. that wasn't it beaacause the over was lighting fine. by process of illimination it was the Oven Sensor Assembly. Read more

With the help of Wendee and Karen, we finally figured out my model numbers and which parts where correct. I ordered the parts and all arrived the next day except for the Broiler element which arrived in 2 days. I installed the new Baking Element myself. Took longer to figure out which curcuit braker to turn off. In about 30 minutes I had a brand new Baking Element in my oven working perfectly. On the following day, I installed the Broiler Element. Tested the power to the unit by turning on the cooktop portion and saw that I had power to all of the burners. Turned the selector knob to broil and saw that the top element would heat up. I lifted up the door and removed it. Next, I laid out newspaper on the floor. I placed the door on the newspaper upside down. With my socket driver, I removed the bottom door trim. I then used a pocket knife to remove the remaining glass in the top groove. I then slid in the new glass and reinstalled the trim. Replaced faulty latch with new latch. New latch was different configuration, but the fit was okay. The only issue was that the wires to the electric motor were just barely long enough.
