Magic Chef Cogged Sump Filter Parts

• Will not drain

I've opened sump housing to check for clogging but it was clean. When I removed check valve to inspect it I've found out that the round part of the valve was missing so I figured it might've blocked the water exit at drain hose or something like that. So I pulled the dishwasher out to get a full access to drain hose connector and the pump. Remove upper and lower baskets for access. Remove 4 Torx screws holding drain/filter assembly, accessing last screw by rotating the water duct clockwise. Be sure to first un-clip the water duct at top and rear of dishwasher so that it can be moved. (Take the opportunity to remove accumulated deposits behind the water duct). It was a relatively easy fix. Removed the small access panel at the back of the washing machine after unplugging the unit. The pump is right there. Disconnected the two hoses to the pump, catching some water with towels. Removed three retaining screws, then realized I had not disconnected the belt from under the unit. Easy fix, tilted the unit and disconnected the belt. Put in the new pump , connected the hoses, then reconnected the belts. Works like new! Read more

We were experiencing slow water flow from our Whirlpool interior water dispenser. The water would flow normally for a couple of seconds then subside to a trickle. After replacing the water filter and inlet valve, research suggested that the water filter head could be the culprit. My dishwasher quit cleaning dishes and lost all pressure. The food screen would keep clogging up and I would have to take it out and clean it by hand. After putting a new impeller in, the "gears" on the impeller connected with the screen blades, the old impeller the "gears" were stripped off. 18 year old Maytag Atlantis top load washer had a load knocking and rattle sound with excessive vibration when the tub was spinning, but not when it was agitating. They was no water leaking. • No heat or not enough heat

The root cause was the front glides. They were virtually gone, and the drum was on metal to metal. So I replaced them with a front glide kit. I also replaced the belt, rear rollers, and lint screen. I am happy to say all the parts fit perfectly, and I couldn't find a better price anywhere else. I will definitely keep you on file for the next time I need appliance parts! Thank you! I pulled the dryer away from the wall and unplugged it. Then I used a 5/16 nut driver and removed the 2 screws in the bottom front panel and pulled it off. Next I removed the 2 5/16 screws holding the front door panel and pulled it down far enough to disconnect the wires for the light and the wires on the door switch. Water dispenser came down to a trickle and made a lot of noise, I changed the filter but it didnt help and thus the water tank/head assembly needed to be replaced. Replacing the water Tank/head assembly was an easy task, the hardest part is removing the covers and taking care of not breaking the insulation of the water inlet hose. Dishes were 'gritty' with an almost invisible coating of specks smaller than grains of salt. Prior to ordering parts, I had to determine which part(s) needed replaced and which could benefit from a good cleaning. After viewing Appliance Parts Pros YouTube Videos, I removed the Main Manifold (snaps right off) including the Top Spray Arm. • Not cleaning dishes properly

Searched on this site and found likely cause and solution to problem. After watching APP video, I was able to remove dishwasher filter and confirm clogged filter. Ordered the new part and it was shipped quickly. Reinstalled it per video instructions and it worked perfectly! Motor shaft was stripped, replaced with new shaft from Motor Seal Kit. Impeller was also cracked, so replaced it as well. I did run in to a small problem, the chopper blade was pressing against the metal grate on the piece that goes back over the motor seal. I spent about an hour messing with it, but thought maybe once it's all together it'll be fine. When you screw the impeller on, it pushes down the seals, which pushes down the chopper blade.
