The dishwasher is 4 years old, so I figured since it was leaking from the bottom, replacing the Tub Gasket PN: AP5690109, Splash Shield Kit PN: AP4338941 , and the bottom Door Seal/Gasket PN: AP5809675 was a good idea; the machine probably has around 1200 cycles in 4 years. The original issue with the dryer is that a corner of the lint screen was sticking out of the lint screen guide, and it would not stay flush with the guide. I bought new gaskets, which were expensive! At least the repair was easy. Pulled out the old ones, pressed in the new ones. Had to redo them because I didn't notice the little flaps that need to be covering the space in the middle, between the doors. So, pulled them off, and turned them around, and pressed them on again. That was not too bad but trying to put the door back on the hinges by myself was a bit of work. Walk into the kitchen on 21 Sep. Eight year old Frigidaire refrigerator appears to be short cycling, controls are nonfunctional. Unplug it for a few minutes, plug it back in, appears to return to normal function. Return to kitchen half hour 45 minutes later it's short cycling again. Thanks to Jason and his tech people at Appliance Parts Pro, I was able to remove and replace the seal and eliminate all leaks at the bottom of the door. A quick google search lead me to the problem - the plastic door gasket had become loose and broken. Received the part very quickly and installed it that night after a little trial and error. What the videos don't tell you is that to properly 'seat' the gasket you need to angle it UP when you push it into the little gap. If you angle it up, it will catch and seat properly, if you just push it in normally, it won't catch on the right part and it'll just hang loose at the bottom of the door and... Read more
