Fix a noisy convection fan or fan that won't spin. This motor restores even heating in your range or wall oven. 15-minute DIY repair with basic tools.
Diagnosed the problem by seeing the lower fan was not turning. Didn't have any squeaks or sounds as a warning sign... It just stopped working. Went to AppliancePartsPros.com typed in my make & model number (Samsung NE58F9710WS). The web site pulled up the parts schematic, I navigated to the part on the schematic (Assembly #8 - Assy Motor Convection-Re DG96-00110B / AP5580897) and ordered it "Express Shipping" because I need the oven for Thanksgiving. When the part arrived, it looked identical... Read more
Fix burners stuck on high or not responding to temperature adjustments. This range infinite switch restores precise heat control. DIY-friendly repair.
After removing the top rear access panel, I took as-built photographs of the two components to be replaced showing all wires, connectors and screws! The Energy Regulator for the front left burner was replaced first, noting the orientation before pulling off the knob, and removing the retaining screws. I used long nose pliers to gently remove one lead at a time and reconnect to the new regulator. Checked orientation against the photo, reinstalled regulator and knob. Main PCB Assembly was... Range won't heat or overheats? This high limit thermostat regulates oven temperature to prevent overheating. Easy DIY repair, typically 15-30 minutes.
With the help of several You Tube videos I was able to diagnose the problem. Diagnosis was confirmed with the help of a multi-meter. The thermo fuse was dead. I ordered the part from Appliance Parts Pros on Wednesday and it arrived via UPS on Friday afternoon. The fuse was very easy to remove and replace and my range was up and running in less than 15 minutes. Local repair service wanted $100 to do the diagnosis plus parts plus a return trip for installation. I got the part from Appliance Parts... Read more

Fix buzzing fan noise or no convection heat in your range. This convection fan motor restores proper airflow. DIY-friendly, installs in 20 minutes.
First I did a search for my model stove, I read the discriptions of what it was doing and came to the conclusion it was the fan motor. I then called an appliance dealer in my local area to find out that the fan motor cost all most double what I could get it online. I called to see how much it would cost to have a repair man come out and fix it, which would have cost 260 dollars. So in one of the suggested comments that someone previously left it stated that it could be done in about 20... Read more
This is the fan blade that mounts onto the convection fan motor inside your oven and circulates hot air evenly throughout the oven cavity during convection cooking. Even heat circulation helps food cook more consistently and in less time. Replace it when your oven is not heating evenly, you hear an unusual noise during convection mode, or you can see the blade is cracked or damaged.
Changed out the Fan. Oven turns all heaters on to quickly get to temperature - the sensor probe is next to the broil heater - it quickly senses the broil element heat and claims a false oven temperature and "reaches" set temperature at the sensor probe. Changing the fan causes the air to circulate during this time - so the entire oven heats up. The Fan is supposed run in Bake mode during heat up. The Fan blade nut is a left hand thread - turn CCW to tighten and Clockwise to loosen - RIGHTY... Read more

Go inside the oven and remove the fan cover. Take the nut off of the fan (it may be a reverse nut), then remove the fan and the spacer. Open the back of the range, unplug the old fan motor and remove it (3 screws). Install the new fan motor assembly. The electric plug may not match up with the new motor, I cut the plug in half and put the 2 small plugs on the terminals. Back inside the oven, replace the spacer, fan and cover. Read more
This is a flanged mounting nut used to secure internal components within a microwave oven. The flange provides a wider bearing surface to distribute clamping force and prevent loosening from vibration. Replace this nut if the original is stripped, corroded, or lost during a repair, as a missing or damaged fastener can allow components to shift or rattle.

Burner not heating evenly or center section cold? This dual radiant heating element restores full heat. Moderate DIY repair with cooktop lift required.
Simple replacement of the heating element. Found multiple videos on youtube that show how to to do this repair. The cooktop is easily opened by removing 3 screws, but I recommend having a second set of hands when performing the repair because you will have to hold up the glass stove top and unscrew the components. Signals active burners or heating elements on your electric range. Replace when dim, flickering, or burnt out for clear visibility and safety monitoring.
It was easy to find the burnt up parts and I could see what caused the problem of jarring an indicator loose and it struck a side wall (ground) and shorted out and burned the switch and indicator out. I went onto this website and the schematics were blown up and easy to find on the drawing. Took a pic of all the wires connected to the switch prior to removing them and in 15 minutes it was fixed. Truly thought that boards were burned up, facing an estimated $250 estimated repair or possibly a... Read more
