The Diverter Valve is an OEM part for Bosch dishwashers. This valve directs water flow during different phases of the wash cycle, determining whether water goes to the lower or upper spray arm.
Causes of a bad diverter valve can be mineral buildup causing malfunction, wear and tear of internal components over time, or damage from foreign debris.
Symptoms of a bad diverter valve include:
- Insufficient or improper water distribution
- Dirty dishes, especially on the lower rack
- Extended wash cycle times
- Dripping or leakage from the valve area
This Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau some Kenmore models.
