I took the model number of the oven and typed that in followed by replacement backing element.there was a photo of the element that matched the original. They provided an online tutorial as to how to install it. It was very easy because the electrical contacts at the ends of the new baking element slid right into the electrical contacts inside the oven cavity. First guess was the Bake Element, but I ran my hands around it and didn't feel any clue of a break/failure in the element. Further research indicated that the Hot Wire Relay is the next likely cause, that was really bad news because that part is unavailable anywhere. Swapped the H1 and H2 wires on the Hot Wire Relay, and found that Broil still worked, which indicated that the relay was good and the Bake Element was the likely cause. When I removed them to check for continuity I found that one ear on each element had broken off. I dug the broken spades out of the receptacel and put in the new elements. Works great now. Read more
