Electrolux front load washer leaking. Thomas L. • Tonawanda , NY • February 22, 2019
Water was accumulating in the drawer pedestal, it was leaking from the front of the washer so I thought it was the front door seal. I also noticed it would leak even when the washer was not being used so I doubted it was the door seal. I googled the leak problems and watched a few videos which gave me confidence on washer disassembly. With the top panel off I noticed the leak coming from the water inlet assembly. Appliance Parts Pro’s had the part and replacement video and I replaced the part...

Very noisy then ultimately bearing failure and a broken shock mount Brian B. • Canton , NY • September 23, 2014
I watched the video posted by Jerrod Sessler on yellow van handyman.com. Then I had to unstack the dryer from the washer, remove all covers, disconnect all hose connections, shock mounts and springs and remove the tub assembly. Then I disassembled the tub assembly and remove seal and both bearings from the rear half. At this point I cleaned everything. I installed new bearings and seal, installed the basket and assembled both tub halves using a new gasket and silicone, and reinstalled the...

Water leak running across floor after use Tim B. • Rumford , ME • March 23, 2014
I tore into the washer until i found what i thought was the problem which was the upper outer tub splash cover gasket and when i couldnt find one in my town i ordered a new one from u folks and replaced it hoping for the best and was successful. This fix costed me $35 instead of the $400+ for a new washer glad i looked into it instead of discarding it and buying a new one as most may do thanks

Circulation motor leaking Steve W. • Frederick , MD • November 18, 2019
Following the great video on the site, I pulled the motor off and was about to put the o-rings on when I noticed there was rust on the motor shaft. Very close inspection showed the o-rings were still good. Not having time to order a motor, and a local store was having a sale, I replaced the whole unit.

This air duct seal creates a tight barrier between the dryer's lint housing and cabinet. Replacing a worn seal helps prevent air leaks, maintain proper airflow through the lint filter, and restore consistent drying performance.
- Seals the air duct/lint housing to the front panel to direct airflow through the lint screen and drum
- Helps maintain dryer efficiency and temperature control by preventing bypass air leaks
- Common symptoms of a failed seal include longer dry times, weak exhaust airflow, excess lint inside the cabinet, or lint around the door opening
- Replaces a deteriorated or missing seal to restore the intended air path
What's included: 1 air duct seal Install notes:
- Disconnect power; shut off gas supply for gas models
- Access the air duct by removing the lint screen and top/front panels as needed
- Remove the old seal and any residue; clean mating surfaces before installing the new seal
- Seat the duct evenly against the panel when reassembling to ensure a uniform seal

Dryer belt broke on kenmore washer/dryer combo Lillian H. • S Chesterfield , VA • January 15, 2018
Pulled front cover off of dryer and back plate to get belt on. Remember to always shut breaker off to machine and test to make sure no electricity is running to it. Pretty simple. I also replaced the seal to the air duct where the lint filter sits since I had to take the front the off anyway. About 1 hr of time to complete and I'll be 60 years old this month. Good thing I didn't have to pull the drum.
