Found that the gas line did not have a dirt trap put in it. So I put one in. I think the regulator valve was not closing off. To be safe, I replaced the gas safety valve and regulator. Read more

I called a rpair service. The men came to the house, torn apart the stove top and advised Replacement of the wire harness. The trip charge of $100 would be deducted from a repair bill of $350, thus they needed an additional $150 for parts and $100 for labor after paying the trip charge. Primarily, removed oven door. Be cognizant of how you disassembled ... Very important when you reassemble ! Took down model# and tried to match on website. However there were 5 sub-models. Had to look very carefully at the pictures of the parts. Also, there were 3 different size caps on the range. Open oven door removed 2 screws to lift up top then remove 1 screw at back of burner assy to let right side burner assy drop down to replace then remove wires be sure to write down where wires go look on bottom side for location of wire plugs new burner plugs may be located in different location mine was then install new burner assy Read more
