Dryer won't heat or clothes stay wet? A failed heating element is often the cause. This part restores consistent heat to dry clothes properly again.
Replaced the heating element, which came complete with the two thermostats, wiring harness, and the mounting plate. Installed the new element unit, plugged in the dryer and tested to be sure the new element worked. Read more
This time-delay fuse protects the appliance's power circuit by opening when current exceeds a safe level while tolerating brief inrush current. Replacing a blown fuse can help restore power once the root cause is corrected. What it does:
I read up on others with this problem of microwave-wall oven combination Whirlpool Gold. We live in a very rural area and were not able to get ANYONE to service it - had 2 companies come out to inspect but they never returned. I have wonderful news! We replaced the fuse, bus fuse, and light bulb (quit working 2 years ago) and all is working. Thanks for the information and for the part diagram. Couldn't have done it without you. Read more
This is the duct assembly - sometimes called the heater box - that houses or channels heated air from the heating element into the dryer drum. It directs airflow so clothes dry efficiently and evenly. Replace this assembly if it is cracked, warped, or damaged, which can cause poor drying performance, unusual noises, or overheating issues.
I've had my dryer for 10yrs...Thanks to you I can keep my dryer for another 10yrs.... your instructional videos are the best... and the website I love.. easy to navigate and find your parts... Read more

Dryer not heating or drying properly? A damaged blower wheel restricts airflow, preventing hot air circulation. Attaches to motor shaft with left-hand threads.
This cover mounts inside the dryer and shields the drum light from direct contact with tumbling clothes. It helps protect the light bulb and prevents garments from snagging on the light assembly. 6-foot flexible metal duct connects dryer exhaust to wall vent. Replace if crushed, torn, disconnected, or missing to restore proper airflow path.
Our heating element had broken coils. Typed model number in to see which parts were likely to fix the problem. AppliancePartsPros told me exactly which parts to try. For the cost, it seemed the best decision was to order the complete Heating Element Assembly, rather than risk needing the two smaller parts as well. Decided to order new vent as well. The parts arrived super fast and the on-site video showed step-by-step how to install the new part. From diagnosis to drying laundry in less than 48... Read more
Relocates your dryer's exhaust vent from rear to left, right, or bottom. Includes elbows, duct, and instructions. Replace when changing installation.
Used the Wpl. Vent Kit, 4-way. This is not a quick, easy job. You have to disassemble the dryer, removing the entire front, door, drum, and control panel. Take your time and take pictures as you go so you can get it all back together again after installing the conversion kit. It will take you at least an hour, and you need room to work. Also, remember that after converting the dryer over to left or right vent, you now have a wider dryer with the ducting sticking out the side. (4") Make sure it... Read more

Adjustable leveling foot threads into washer or dryer base to stabilize appliance on uneven floors. Replace if cracked, worn, or missing to reduce rocking.
This is a high limit thermostat that monitors the temperature inside the dryer's heating chamber and shuts off the heating element if temperatures exceed a safe threshold. It serves as a safety device to prevent overheating and potential fire hazards. Replace this thermostat if your dryer is not heating at all, shuts off prematurely, or if a multimeter test shows no continuity through the thermostat.
I don't have a multimeter so couldn't check all voltages or resistances on suspect parts. I assumed it had to be the two thermostat units - the thermostat or the dryer cycling thermostat. These were not expensive parts so ordered both and installed both. Very easy to remove back panel and replace with the new parts, making sure the OEM numbers were the same. Put back panel on, plugged back in and it fired right up - time will tell if these were the culprits. Not much left electronics wise on... Read more
