FIRST I PULL THE DRYER OUT FROM THE WALL AND TOOK THE BACK OFF. WITH A 5/16 NUT DRIVER. NEXT WITH A LIGHT SET UP I LOOKED FOR ANY BURNT, BROKEN,OR LOSE WIRES THAT MY HAVE COME OFF ANY CONNECTIONS. Used multimeter to diagnose no continuity through heating element. Took out element and found underwire from a bra (C-cup I think...) had shorted it and caused a break. Replaced heating element and ... still no heat. Found that one of the fuses had no continuity also. Replaced the fuse and everything working fine. Read more

I used Google and YouTube to search for troubleshooting videos and ordered the parts through AppliancePartsPros.com. I watched the repair videos on parts replacement and found it very helpful. Got it done in about an hour and tested it. It works!!!!! Read more

Open dryer door. Remove four Phillip head screws that hold lint assembly together. Two inside and two on the outside. There is also a hex head screw behind the front panel. To get at it I removed the four hex heads at bottom of front panel and four star head screws on left side of front panel. I was able to get at it by pulling the front panel out as much as possible and and reaching from the side with small quarter inch socket. I replaced the heating element and all of the thermal/high cutoff fuses and thermistors even though only the heating element tested "open" (there was a crack in the element) just to be safe. Also for the "jet airplane" sound the fan housing bearing was bad. I replaced that a well. Now it works like it should and is quiet again! Removed front of dryer panel, removed top, and removed drum. Replaced motor and wheel, because the old wheel was rusted on the motor shaft, and could not be removed, so I had to break it off. Replaced motor, and reassembled. Everything works now. I also replace the switch-Pb, because the start button was getting stuck. Read more

Took off the freezer door, took off the top hinge on the refrigerator door, replaced the handle, re-installed the top hinge and the freezer door. This is a two person job - one to remove the top hinge and replace the handle, while a second person holds the refrigerator door in place. Replacing the handle was easy.
