Drains condensation from the evaporator to the drain pan. Replace if cracked, clogged, corroded, or leaking, causing water pooling in the fridge bottom.

The evaporater drain was plugged. This is the second time in five years. I ordered new drip pan plate and drain tube. The old tube is very small and hard to clear. The inside diameter of the old tube in not much bigger than a wooden skewer. The drip pan which I replaced is about a 10 minute job. Remove 2 drawers and shelves. Remove evaporater cover (2) screws. Gently slide out old one and slide in new one. Old one was very corroded. The new drain tube is about twice the diameter of the old one....
