I ordered a replacement glass from Appliance Part Pros on Friday evening and it was delivered on Monday morning. It was packed well and I appreciated the quick delivery. I watched the Appliance Part Pros video and it was not helpful because it was for a different door but it did have some useful advice. • Touchpad does not respond

I looked online for possible repair solutions when the range would not turn off. I found that the membrane switch goes bad on these models. I looked online for available parts and Appliance Parts Pros had the item in stock. I ordered and it was here the next day. After receiving the part, again, I looked online for how to replace the membrane switch and youtube video walked me through the steps. It took about an hour and now it works like new. Read more

Of course, before disassembling anything, I unplugged and turned off the gas supply. To replace the spark electrode, I removed the drip pan/surface to gain access to the burner assemblies. Next, I unscrewed (with a 1/2" open-end wrench, I think) and disconnected the gas supply tubing from the burner assembly with the cracked electrode, and then unscrewed the assembly itself from the base surface. Replacing the switch membrane restored full function. Relatively easy. Had to pull stove out just a few inches to provide access to two side screws holding control enclosure. Then four screws on bottom edge just above oven door. Then a screw above each burner control. And one screw on the top edge at each corner (right screw additionally holding a ground wire). Overall the fix wasn't too hard. The challenge was putting the oven door back together and holding it together while trying to tighten the screws. Enlisted my wife's help to hold the door and at first the handle screws wouldn't tighten. My cordless screwdriver's battery was under-charged. Once I switched batteries I was able to tighten the screws. Seemed like I needed to push too hard (my wife freaked "not so hard you will strip them!") however pushing hard was what was needed. I removed the burners and replaced the igniters. The burners must be removed because the igniters go underneath them. This job turned out to be very difficult because my stove is 16 years old and the screws holding down the igniters were completely rusted and bound to the stove top, so I had to drill out all of the screws. • Gas smell

Some stoves/ovens are not suppose to be cleaned under the top! So I ordered the supply lines, from APP. I received the parts quickly, and promptly installed them. Read more

I was able to clean the Oven Temp Sensor with 99% alcohol. Then replaced All switches (after breaker was isolated). Put it all back the way I found it. Turned on breaker. Tested all functions and had no reports of Fan Code re-appearing since. Read more

Took down model# and tried to match on website. However there were 5 sub-models. Had to look very carefully at the pictures of the parts. Also, there were 3 different size caps on the range. Ordered one small, 2 medium, and one large. Arrived in 48 hours. Perfect match. Placed on burners. Repair complete. Read more
