Appliances came with the house we recently purchased, but there were a few parts on the Jenn Aire refrigerator. It looked terrible! It was super-easy to locate the pieces I needed, but honestly I was not confident they would fit. But they did, and perfectly! My refrigerator looks brand new. Replaced the motor, however not the easiest to do with the older refrigerators. First I had to remove the shelf that hold the ice bin. There is a small screw midway underneath the tray. Once removed the shelf is loose but still hard to remove. There is a side panel that is slotted andonce removed the shelf can then be removed, but not knowing that it is a very odd fitting unit. Replaced the ice tray and motor mount plate. While I was there I replaced the thermostat also. New parts arrived in a day and a half. Read more

Remove broken end caps and replace with new ones. I did use a screwdriver to push the second holding tab into the slot, then I pushed the shelf bar up (or down) to match door contour. Read more

Replaced motor, fan and lock-nut. My repair was on a built in Refrigerator-Freezer so most of the time was spent on pulling out and putting back the unit to get to the area I needed to behind the upper top. Read more

• Freezer section too warm

I removed the back panel in freezer and light cover then the following: remove the rusted clips, unplug heater and replaced new heater, the thermostat defrost I unfasten, clip on replacement and connected plugs. Read more

I took out the old screws which were a bit of a challenge. The new handles seemed too short. Learned they needed to be warmed to be more flexible. Put near fireplace for a few minutes. Then with a little pressure they snapped into place and I screwed them in. Looks like new again. Read more
