Seals refrigerator door to prevent air leaks and maintain temperature. Replace if torn, warped, or letting warm air in. Confirm fit with model number.
The rubber seal/gasket was torn on our KitchenAid refrigerator right side door. I purchased the replacement and followed the directions/recommendations of how to prepare the new gasket for installation. When it's removed from the shipping box, it does have wrinkles and preparing it is a must. I set it out on our tile floor and then used a heat gun (low setting) to warm it up and massage it. It took me about 15 minutes, stopping and restarting as I let the rubber come back to it's desired shape.... Read more
This kit includes a thermal cut-off fuse and a high limit thermostat that work together to protect your dryer from overheating. They are typically mounted on or near the heating element housing and will shut off the heater if temperatures exceed safe limits. Replace this kit if your dryer runs but produces no heat, or if the thermal fuse has blown due to a clogged vent or restricted airflow.
First ran the built-in diagnostic tests. Got error code indicating that the inlet thermistor was open. Removed lower access panel and did continuity checks on the inlet thermistor, thermal cutoff and heating element. Even doing these checks is very difficult on this model due to the location of these parts and the limited access through the so-called access panel. But was able to get an open reading on the heating element, so I knew that at least that part was faulty. Could not get a reliable... Read more

Washer won't spin or stops mid-cycle? A faulty lid lock strike prevents the lid from securing properly. Moderate DIY repair with included video guide.
The part is so new no video so I went onto a similar part and watched video that got me about 80%. Then, called and customer service sent me a service Manual but this still was not specific so I broke the old to get it out and in the process figured out how to do it correctly. So I installed the last bit of it which was the bezel through the machine top by myself correctly. So you take the old one out by pushing out to the right from the bottom side using a screw driver for leverage. It will... Read more

Personally I have experience working with electricity and knowing if I bought the part required this would be an easy fix. I got my model number and contacted Appliance Parts Pros and placed my order for the new elements, terminal blocks, and for appearance purposes 4 new Drip Pans. Excellent service and quick shipping. This lint filter catches lint and debris during the drying cycle to maintain proper airflow through the dryer's exhaust system. A clogged or damaged filter restricts airflow, which forces longer dry times, increases energy costs, and creates a fire hazard from lint buildup in the vent system. Replace this filter if the pull handle is broken or cracked, the mesh is torn or separating from the frame, rust or metal flakes are visible on the screen, or lint is passing through instead of being trapped. The filter is white, measures approximately 20 inches long (excluding the handle) by 8.5 inches wide, and slides directly into the lint filter slot -- no tools needed, takes under a minute. Clean the filter before every load for best performance.
I ordered a new one. Got it much sooner than expected. Read more
Illuminates the dryer drum for better visibility when loading and unloading. Replace when bulb burns out or fails to light. Confirm fit with your model.
Originally the dryer was squeaking a lot, so I purchased a new belt tensioner, but the original tensioner was an old-style no wheel tensioner, so that wasn't the source of the squeaking. I saw a lot of lint had built up inside the unit where there shouldn't have been that much. So I viewed a few videos on the Appliance Pros site and saw that the rear wheel guides were the cause of the squeaking and the rear felt drum and blower housing seal needed to be replaced. The rear blower housing was... Read more
Ice maker stopped making ice or won't eject cubes? A failed motor module is often the cause. DIY repair in under an hour with our video guide.
After finding out the cost that we would have to pay for the repair locally, I went to Appliance parts pro.com. with the intention of finding out the cost for parts. We had been quoted $100 for the first hour which included repair if it could be done under the first hour plus parts. And they added that the typical repair for the ice maker was between $200 and $500. Fortunately we are very organized and had the original paperwork of the refrigerator which has all parts and numbers for the... Read more
This is a foam seal that fits around the dryer's blower housing or lint chute area, creating an airtight connection to prevent air leaks. It helps maintain proper airflow through the dryer's exhaust system for efficient drying. Replace this seal if you notice longer drying times, warm air escaping from areas other than the vent, or if the existing seal is crumbling, compressed, or deteriorated.
Our 19 year old Whirlpool dryer quit heating. After checking the thermal fuse, I found the ignitor electrically open. I bought an ignitor at a local store as there was a national holiday the next day and I did not want the dryer inoperative waiting several days for shipping. I can say AppliancePartsPros is MUCH cheaper for the identical Whirlpool genuine part. While changing the ignitor, I noticed there was an excessive amount of lint in the dryer, which was caused by worn drum seals. I ordered... Read more
