Replaced agitator and washplate bolt and washer. Normally this would have been a 5 min job, however the bolt wouldn't come loose. The teeth on the agitator were worn down and the shaft the bolt screws into would turn with the bolt when trying to loosen it. I had to cut out the agitator using a dremel and hold the shaft in place with a vise grip in order to unscrew the bolt. Once the bolt was out I used WD-40 to help get the agitator off the gears. First, DO NOT call Sears for parts, their call center knows nothing about the product. App-Pros are the best for help and the right parts. I figured to repair, replace all seals and any item that shows need to and all items that have to do with the spin that may be bad. Repair videos great help. • Will not fill with water

Our original discussion with a parts rep. led us to change the control panel as we had tested the valves for continuity and had it. Changing the panel did not fix the problem. As we had power continuity, we then removed the hoses from the cold water valve and checked the flow. The wash fill side of the valve had only a trickle of water, so we ordered a new cold inlet valve and replaced it. Problem solved, washer working like it's new. Read more

Using a nut driver I removed the sheet metal screws, removed the old belt and replaced it with the one. An easy repair. Shipping was EXCELLENT! Read more

Simply lift up the old filter and cap and discard it. The new assembly simply pushes down and on to the agitator base. It stays in place by clicking over a raised perimeter rib on the base. This is the easiest repair (short of screwing in a light bulb) that one could do. The hardest part was to identify which parts I needed to purchase. The washer would work fine except it wouldn't spin unless you opened the lid and waited a split second for it to stop. You would hear a bang, then when you closed the lid, it would spin.
