Removed 10 Star Screws to get the door cover off and the fascia panel snapped off. Inserted the 6 buttons and the door handle into the facia panel prior to snapping it in place. Screwed the door cover back in place and the job was done. The facia has two tabs that need to be inserted into the door. Be careful not to crack them as they seem fragile. The first facia panel I ordered arrived with with one of those tabs cracked off. Read more

Removed back of dishwasher with hex screw driver 5 min Unplugged power cord 30 secs Loosened metal bracket on top and bottom with screwdriver 5 min Pushed dispenser in and removed from dishwasher 5 min Positioned new unit in space and snapped into place 1 min Plugged electrics back in 1 min Screwed back on 3 min Roughly 20 min. Searched out and found AppliancePartsPros.com had one of best prices, and relative quick delivery. Received part in just a couple days. Unpackaged part and located correct torx screw driver. Removed 6 screws holding lower front panel. Next removed all screws holding broken mounting tabs that were from original facia panel. Removed and transfered all plastic buttons, and crome handle trim from original facia panel to new one. Attached new facia panel to diswasher door frame, and finally... Read more

One end cap was broken but I ordered 2 since the shipping was the same price. I replaced both by removing the Tork screws on both sides of the door panel (one side at a time). There was a bolt on the inside panel of the door that secured the end cap. I replaced the end cap and tightened the bolt moderately so as to not crack the plastic end cap. Total job was 30 mins replacing both end caps and including figuring out how to get to them. NOTE - be careful to not open the door panel sections... Read more

I ORDERED A NEW CONTROLLER BOARD. THE DIRECTIONS SHOWED HOW TO UNCLIP THE OLD BOARD BUT THE FASTENERS WERE ON THE LEFT SIDE NOT THE BOTTOM AS INDICATED ON THE REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS. AFTER REASSEMBLY THE DISHWASHER FUNCTIONED AS NEW. THNKS FOR THE INSIGHT. Read more
