Bosch Dishwasher Parts

After we saw that progressively our dishes were not getting clean we investigated the condition of the spray arms and this upper feed tube assembly. We found a huge crack on the side of this piece and new not enough water was getting to the arms. We also noticed a build up of soap and lime. Using instructions I obtained over the internet, I first removed the DW's bottom cover panels so I could look inside the DW (with a flashlight) while it was running. I had to put their dishwasher through several wash cycles before I could pinpoint the location of the leak. Removed old rollers and axels and installed new ones. Used needle nosed pliers to remove old axles and rollers and put new ones on by hand, just snapped them onto the rack frame and pushed new wheels onto the new axles. Discovered that the end caps of the metal guide that the rollers move in just rotate out on a hinge principle in order to remove the rack in order to put the new rollers on. Read more

Bacteria buildup in the venting assembly and drain hose. Replaced them and it's back to normal Read more

WE replaced the drain pump and it still wouldn't drain sometimes. Finally we realized that the drain hose wasn't the correct bosch hose and the rubber was starting to bend and kink where it went through the hole to under the sink.So we bought the drain hose and replaced. Read more

This is a common problem with the Bosch product evidently. After watching the on-line instructional video, I ordered the control module from APP. The part arrived quickly and the replacement of the module was very easy. Removed 10 Star Screws to get the door cover off and the fascia panel snapped off. Inserted the 6 buttons and the door handle into the facia panel prior to snapping it in place. Screwed the door cover back in place and the job was done. The facia has two tabs that need to be inserted into the door. Be careful not to crack them as they seem fragile. The first facia panel I ordered arrived with with one of those tabs cracked off. Read more
