If your dryer won't stop running or clothes come out damp on Auto Dry, the moisture sensor may have failed. This 2-5 minute fix restores cycle timing.
Fixed it in 5minutes. One end has a Phillips head screw and the other has a tab with to metal leads for wires. The end with the tab broke. I removed the screw for the other end abd the sensor bar came off. To put the new piece on, I connected the wires to the leads, slid the tab end into place on the drum and screwed in the other end. Ordered the parts from Appliance Pro's and installed them. Fairly easy install. Just plug in connections on motor's electrical. Top and front come off of Dryer then once belt is unhooked the Drum comes right out and you have easy access to the motor and blower. After that it is just 4 screws that hold motor and blower in. Install new equipment in bracket and fastened back in machine. When completed hit start button and off it went. Works Great. And has run several loads in last couple days. Read more
