Then I had to unstack the dryer from the washer, remove all covers, disconnect all hose connections, shock mounts and springs and remove the tub assembly. Replaced pump. All components are accessible from the front of the machine. You have to remove two screws in the back that hold on the top cover, then slide the cover back. This will allow access to the screws that hold on the control panel. New parts from Appliance Parts Pro were spot on, what a relief not to get into and have wrong parts. Really happy with speed of delivery and ordering process. Removed front cover, was able to access all 4 shocks from the front - time saver. Washer bellow and spring were a little bit of a finger buster, but after removing both bottom and top counter weights was super helpful. Using a 13MM socket to pinch the end of the shock absorber mounting pins was a great tip found here. Read more
