This is an electronic control board that mounts inside the range and manages oven functions such as temperature regulation, bake and broil cycles, and display operation. It receives input from the touchpad or control panel and sends signals to heating elements and other components. Replace this board if the oven fails to heat, displays error codes, has an unresponsive control panel, or behaves erratically during cooking cycles.
So initial thought was bad bake igniter. I'bve replaced this before so I replaced it again and it wouldn't glow. Checked broil igniter and same thing, no glow. Checked voltage at molex connector for bake igniter and it went from 6.6v to 3.4v when triggered to glow -- well below the 120v expected. Just screwed on the new handle. The new handle did not come with threaded holes, but this was OK because the screws that came with the stove were self tapping. We ordered a new ignitor and it came in two days just as promised. The only problem that we experienced was that the leads on the new ignitor were to short. We were able to find enough slack on the oven end to make it work. The oven is once again working great. The video was a little off on what need to be done to disconnect the ignitor.
