This glass main top assembly replaces a damaged or worn cooktop surface to restore a smooth, heat-resistant cooking area and improve stove appearance. Fits select GE ranges and provides the finished top surface under burners and grates. What it does:

• Replaces the cracked, scratched, or discolored glass cooktop surface to restore functionality and appearance
• Provides a stable, heat-tolerant surface for burner elements and grates
• Helps prevent heat and spills from reaching internal components when properly installed
• Addresses symptoms such as visible cracks, chips, broken glass, or an uneven cooktop surface

• Disconnect power to the appliance (and gas supply if applicable) before starting service
• Handle glass with care—wear gloves and eye protection to avoid cuts from sharp edges
• Removing the existing top may require lifting burners/grates and unfastening retaining clips or screws; keep fasteners separate and reuse if in good condition
