This seal cushions and seals the refrigerator/freezer lamp assembly to keep condensation and dust out while protecting the lamp. It restores the light housing fit for reliable illumination and a neater interior. What it does:

• Forms a watertight/air-resistant gasket around the lamp housing to reduce moisture and debris intrusion
• Helps keep the lamp assembly securely seated so the bulb and lens stay in place
• Can stop light from leaking into adjacent compartments or behind trim
• Commonly replaced when the seal is cracked, brittle, missing, or allowing moisture buildup around the lamp
