This limit switch is a small position-sensing microswitch used in the oven door lock system. It tells the control when the latch is open or closed so the door can lock/unlock correctly and self-clean can run safely.
With help of the knowledgeable techs at appliance parts pros I was able to pinpoint the problem and order the part that was bad to efficiently repair my range. Read more
Replacement thermostat that senses and controls the appliance heating system to restore accurate heating and stable temperature cycles, helping the appliance reach and maintain the set temperature. What it does:
Replace the Thermostat-Mgt. Read more
This SPDT high-amp switch controls high-current circuits by switching one input between two outputs, restoring proper electrical control in affected appliance functions. Built for high-load switching where reliable on/off selection is required. What it does:
Oven was dead and I noticed the display would flicker upon opening the top oven door. Thanks to the awesome appliance parts diagram at this website, I realized that changing the switch would be a fairly simple and inexpensive gamble, before calling a repairman. Turns out that was all I needed, and this $6 part saved my $2,600 oven !! Read more
Probe thermistor (temperature sensor) gives the refrigerator control board accurate internal temperature readings so it can regulate compressor and defrost cycles. Replacing a bad thermistor helps restore steady cooling and correct temperatures. What it does:
This limit switch is a position-sensing safety switch used in cooking appliances. It signals the control when a mechanism reaches the correct position, helping the unit start or stop related functions reliably.
This bimetal limit thermostat is a safety temperature cutoff that stops heat when an oven or range overheats, helping protect the appliance and prevent further damage. It replaces a failed thermal cutoff that won't reset or maintain safe temperatures. What it does:
This hi-limit thermostat is a temperature-sensing safety switch that stops power to the heating circuit if temperatures rise above safe levels, helping protect the appliance from overheating and heat-related damage. What it does:
This thermal cutoff (runaway) is a temperature-safety device that stops the dryer's heating circuit if temperatures exceed safe limits, helping prevent overheating and potential fire hazards. Replaces a failed or tripped runaway TCO in dryer heating assemblies. What it does:
This bimetal limit thermostat is a safety cutoff that helps prevent ovens and ranges from overheating. It replaces a failed temperature limit control to restore proper high-temperature protection and safe operation. What it does:
Started getting F9 error code on a regular basis. Could tell one of the control panel cooling fans wasn’t working. Decided to replace both fans and the temp sensor that controls them. Everything works great and the airflow is stronger than ever! Read more

A limit switch that stops power when temperatures exceed safe levels, preventing overheating and protecting the appliance and its controls. Installs at the heat source to help maintain safe operation and reliable performance. What it does:
A replacement limit switch that helps prevent overheating by cutting power when temperature reaches a set point. Fits into the appliance's temperature control/safety system to keep operation safer and more reliable. What it does:
3 wks ago, I replaced the oven temp sensor. When I removed the old sensor, the insulation on the leads was frayed, so I thought I had picked the right part to replace. 2 days later the error codes popped up again. A new clue this time. The error code came up immediately when turning the oven on, before any heating had taken place. When we tried to clear the error code, it stayed on. After studying the schematic & tech info sheet, I decided it had to be the run-away over-temp limit switch. A... Read more
