I removed the dial knob and plate as instructed by the video, removed the front panel of the washer to access the switch. Replacement water fill hoses for washing machines. Connect home water supply to washer. Replace when cracked, leaking, or showing rubber wear or corrosion.
Motor control board was flashing 4 times, indicating that the mode shifter had an error. I disconnected the mode shifter's wire from the controller and measured the resistance between the 2 leads with an ohmmeter. Since the reading was infinite, that meant that the mode shifter coil or in-line thermal sensor was electrically open, i.e. bad. I fixed it all by myself. I turned the washer upside down as it was the easiest way for me to get to the pump to replace it. Then I unscrewed the old one removed the hoses disconnected the wires. Reattach every thing. And now my machine is working like a charm good as new Read more

I replaced the water inlet valve. Apparently, the hard water in my house slowly deposits crud around the valves such at over time, the valve seals quit forming a tight seal when closing. This allows water to slowly leak through, even with the machine off. I removed the top of the washer, disconnected hoses and wires and replaced the valve in fairly short order.
