This is the lower access panel, also called a toe panel, that attaches to the front bottom of the washer. It covers the internal components beneath the drum area and provides a finished appearance. Replace this panel if it is dented, cracked, rusted, or if the mounting tabs are broken, leaving the lower portion of the machine exposed.
Watched the video a few times for door boot seal replacement. It was a lot of help! The spring is the hardest to replace and I did enlist the help of my wife. Everything went back on great. If you have to replace the front panel (with the buttons) be mindful that the buttons are spring loaded and will come out. I did not lose any and it went back together just fine. This is the mounting base that supports and secures the bake element at the bottom of the oven cavity.
