Kenmore / Sears Dishwasher Axle, Roller, Pulley Parts

I was repairing my daughter's WDT730pahz0 Whirlpool dishwasher. The bottom dish rack set of wheels was very easy to install. The replacements for the upper set of wheels is different than the originals. In my opinion, the replacements are far superior to the original parts. The problem, as many have pointed out, is that there are no instructions on how to install the new parts. I found my parts and ordered the six I needed, however I did not pick up on the difference from the front wheels to the rear wheels in the the descriptions. The rear wheels are narrower and I ordered all front wheels, six fronts instead of four front and two rear. I made it work by using the axle from the new wheel with two old narrow wheels. Read more

Ordered new wheel assembly, which came in about a day and a half. The broken assembly was on the left front so I only had to slide the dishwasher out just enough to expose the two mounting screws on the outside of machine.When you remove the old assm there are two rubber washers on the back side. If you didn't order new ones,remember to remove them from broken assembly and install them onto the new piece.Overall this is an easy fix and took about ten minutes including pulling the machine away... 1, Removed roller tray front stoppers from each side. 2. Pulled out empty top rack from dishwasher. 3. Removed existing top rack roller. 4. Inserted new roller where old one was located. 5. Repeated for each roller. 6. Inserted top rack back into dishwasher. 7. Enjoyed using both racks again!! Read more

Two years ago replaced all four roller assemblies of affected side. Problem recently reoccured on the opposite side. Replaced all four roller assemblies on that side. Entire repair took about twenty minutes. Read more
