Dishwasher not heating or drying properly? A faulty thermostat assembly may be the cause. This part monitors water temperature during cycles.
This is an electrical wire lead used to restore or replace a damaged connection in the appliance. It provides a direct conductive path so motors, lights, or controls can receive power and signals reliably. What it does:
Fix a dishwasher that won't start or stops mid-cycle. This thermostat assembly regulates temperature and prevents overheating. Moderate DIY repair.
Usually ships within 4 - 14 days
Microwave not heating or overheating? This thermostat regulates internal temperature by controlling the cooling circuit to maintain safe operating levels.
Microwave won't heat or stops mid-cycle? This magnetron thermostat prevents overheating by cutting power when temperatures spike, then resets when cool.
Dryer overheating or shutting off? This safety thermostat detects excessive heat and cuts power to prevent thermal damage. Direct replacement part.
Dryer won't heat or keeps running without stopping? A faulty operating thermostat often causes heating issues and timer problems. DIY repair part.
Dishwasher not heating or shutting off mid-cycle? This thermostat regulates water temperature. Direct replacement part with moderate difficulty install.
Range won't heat or overheats? This safety thermostat protects against excessive temperatures. Direct replacement part for reliable operation.
Fix a dishwasher not cleaning properly or wash pump not working with this sensor assembly. Direct replacement part that monitors water conditions.
Fix a microwave that won't heat or start with this thermal fuse and thermostat assembly. Protects against overheating. Moderate DIY repair.
Prevents magnetron overheating in your microwave. This cavity over-temperature thermostat shuts off power when temperatures exceed safe limits.
Dishes not drying or water left after cycle? This temperature sensor monitors water heat to ensure proper drying. Tests at 48-52k ohms at room temp.
Fix a dishwasher that's melting plastic or overheating during heated dry with a new high limit thermostat. Moderate DIY repair in under an hour.
If your dishwasher won't start or suddenly stopped working, a blown thermal fuse is often the cause. This safety part protects against overheating.
I ordered a "Thermal Fuse" for a Whirlpool dishwasher. The part didn't fit in the old slot, nor did the tabs fit perfectly in the electrical connections, but it was the best I could find. I suppose the machine is too old to have current repair parts. But, it made the dishwasher work. The fuse is now hanging outside the control panel cover, connected, and working just fine. Read more
