Would advise before doing this repair to watch the video for it. It is not a plug in connection anymore like older ovens. The key is to keep the connecting wires from the oven from falling or pulling into the inner wall of the oven. The wires may not come very far out away from the wall of the oven so make sure to secure them. The video shows a good way to do that. Turned stove breaker off in the main breaker box and also unplugged the oven from the 220 outlet. pulled the baking racks out of the oven and proceeded to locate the 1/4 screws just above the bake element where it passes through the metal wall and removed them. pulled the element forward until the wires were exposed and unplugged them and then attached the new element to the wires and reinstalled in reverse order. I replaced the controller to remedy the LED display issue and changed the motor latch assembly to fix the F95 error. The installation of both parts was very easy. Replaced the hinge receiver with a new one. The old one was bent slightly inside where it could not be seen. I think someone pushed the door down to far or fell on it. 2 screws to remove it, take out storage drawer and reach up little ways to remove and replace the receiver. Replace the 2 screws. The receiver comes with 2 screws but I ordered an extra ( never used it ). The sides of the receiver were spread just a tiny bit but were enough to cause a problem. Read more

Range has no model ID plate anywhere. Flip off electric at circuit breaker box. Opened top of range and noted details of the faulty burner, including confirm that outer coil was fried. The maker info on back of element was useless in finding replacement: more useful was general shape, and the numbers around edge on back. Close up range, since low heat element still working. Replaced above parts, easy to do, looks like a new stove. Needed to pry open knob stem slot segments very slightly to remove broken plastic from previous knobs. Spreading stem slot metal sides too much and they will break. With slots cleaned out, pinch stem sides almost together for new knobs to slide on. I always save original books and assembly sheets for appliances. That helped a lot ! The assembly sheets showed how the ovens went in, how they were attached to the cabinet and what to avoid so I didn’t bend trim piece.
