Replaced module: Although the new module was slightly different due to a third or ground terminal that was not on the original I managed to figured out that I did not need to worry about the ground since the existing wiring had already allowed for the connection. This is a Montgomery Ward gas range made by Tappan. Parts are no longer offered for this appliance. So, I had to eyeball various ignitors to determine which one would work. I settled on the least expensive one and ordered two (Just in case there were "issues"). The parts arrived quickly but were not a simple drop-in replacement. I always save original books and assembly sheets for appliances. That helped a lot ! The assembly sheets showed how the ovens went in, how they were attached to the cabinet and what to avoid so I didn’t bend trim piece. Removed the element "easy just four screws" unplugged two connecting wires, removed element. Did a "continuity test" on element, it failed, so I ordered a new one and installed it. It works great now. Read more
