This is the upper heating element located at the top of the oven cavity that provides high, direct heat for broiling. It glows red-hot to sear and brown food placed on the top rack. Replace this element if the broiler does not heat, heats unevenly, or if you see visible damage such as blistering, cracking, or burn-through spots on the element coil.
This bake element supplies the primary heat from the bottom of the oven during the Bake cycle. Replace it to restore proper preheating and even results when the original is burned out, damaged, or no longer heating. What it does:

We pulled the back off the appliance got out our multi meter. We checked the thermocouple and the two heating elements and all seemed to be in good order. There was no visible issues with wires or the power coming in. The only thing left was the controller board. We ordered a replacement controller board and a new face sticker (which is required for the front buttons to work).
