Fix a gas burner that won't light or clicks but doesn't ignite. This range surface burner igniter creates the spark to light your stovetop. 15-30 min repair.
I removed the burners and replaced the igniters. The burners must be removed because the igniters go underneath them. This job turned out to be very difficult because my stove is 16 years old and the screws holding down the igniters were completely rusted and bound to the stove top, so I had to drill out all of the screws. Also, the burners were bound to the gas flues by mineral deposits and separating them was very difficult. Once I got the stove top up, I threaded the igniter wires to the... Read more

Burner cap sits on top of the gas burner assembly to distribute flame evenly. Replace if cracked, chipped, discolored, or missing for proper cooking.
I thought it was the burners and ordered four burners. When they arrived I thought three of them were wrong parts so I ordered three others and scheduled a return of three I had just received. I then realized it was not the burner but the diffuser plated on top of the burners. I cancelled the new order, arranged a return of the four initial burners and ordered four diffuser plated. The representatives were extremely helpful; and understanding. I was amazed adn happy that there was no... Read more

Black trim piece that installs at the bottom edge of your range oven door. Replace if cracked, rusted, broken, or missing to restore appearance.
I lifted up the door and removed it. Next, I laid out newspaper on the floor. I placed the door on the newspaper upside down. With my socket driver, I removed the bottom door trim. I then used a pocket knife to remove the remaining glass in the top groove. I then slid in the new glass and reinstalled the trim. It took 30 minutes to replace the glass and clean up the glass fragments from the previous door glass. I looked up a video on how to replace it Utube. Personal safety equipment - Safety... Read more
This burner head mounts on the cooktop and distributes gas evenly to produce a steady flame. Replacing a worn or damaged head restores proper flame pattern and helps your burner light quickly and cook consistently.
In an attempt to clean the range from the grease-gunk build-up, I had to remove the burner heads. Unfortunately, the 2 most used burner heads had immovable screws that locked them into the orifices underneath. After numerous hours in attempts to salvage the old burner heads and orifices attempting to remove the immovable screws, I gave up. Checked Maytag's website for parts and found nothing. Turned to AppliancePartsPros.com and found the correct parts for reasonable price in a matter of... Read more
