What you will need: * replacement parts * small and regular Phillips screwdrivers * small wrench * soapy water in a spray bottle or leak detection spray Take apart the top of the stove control unit 1) turn off the gas to the stove, in my case I cannot get to the shutoff valve easily so I ended up turning off the electricity to the stove at the fuse box as that forces an emergency shutdown of the gas supply internally of the stove. 2) remove all 5 knobs, the grates at the top and open the oven... I bought the replacement drip bowl - large and the rubber gasket which was delivered quickly. Specific steps: 1)turn off electricity to cook top 2) remove burner grate, burner cap and collar 3) remove two Philips head screws near center hole 4)lift out drip bowl and reach under it to remove electric plug to igniter. Note how old gasket fits on drip bowl. 5)take out retaining clip on igniter and remove igniter 6)clean up surface where new drip bowl will contact cooktop 7)stretch new rubber... Read more

We ordered a new ignitor and it came in two days just as promised. The only problem that we experienced was that the leads on the new ignitor were to short. We were able to find enough slack on the oven end to make it work. The oven is once again working great. The video was a little off on what need to be done to disconnect the ignitor. We actually had to flip the oven over to get to the bottom. We could not access the connector through the back. Read more

After turning off the gas and unplugging the electricity, I removed all the burners from the stove top using a 3/16" hex socket. Then used a 1/4" socket to removed two or three screws under each burner which hold the burner base to the bottom of the top panel. Then pulled all the knobs and removed the front panel which was held in by two Phillips screws accessible from underneath the panel. It helps to open the oven door to get at these screws. Dismantled the upper part of the stove and removed old part. Had to super glue plastic parts of the underneath part where the touch pad is to be attached to. Put in new touch pad. Worked fantastic. Read more

I removed all the individual burners so I could lift the stainless cover to expose the igniter wires. I cleaned all the wire connections and the 4 good igniters and replaced the one bad igniter. Reassembly was easy and everything worked properly when done. Video of repair was helpful and all parts ordered were correct and shipped promptly and I will definitely use AppliancePartsPros again.
