Whirlpool convection oven. Access to convection element from inside. Three screws to remove plate covering fan blade. Then one screw to remove element bracket. I placed tape over the holes with the wires so they wouldn’t pull back into the panel. Remove old element at tabs and replace. Very easy fix. VERY simple fix- you do not even have to pull the range out.. I ordered a new cooktop from Appliance parts Pros. The customer sales rep Alphonso was great and walked me through the general process. The knobs were perfect. However, the grommets arrived in black rather than white. A phone call to customer service informed me that this part is no longer available in white and that the site would remove the photo. Rather than return the plastic grommets I spray painted them with white Rust-oleum paint for plastic that was in the garage and they look fresh and new. Read more

So after receiving my 2 door hinges, 2 days before est. delivery . All I had to do is take the oven door off, and then remove 4 screws to take the door apart, 4more screws to remove old hinges, replace w/new reassemble and put door back on oven, all in about 40 min. works like new again, Thanks for everything. Ordered the part and installed myself. Received payout from home warranty of $750 since they could not source the part quickly. I decided to order the part online through appliancepartspro since they were the best price. Repair was very straightforward and easy. 10 screws around the cooktop for easy removal, longest part was vacuuming out the old glass. The cooktop set into place and really did not need any sealer since it was heavy enough to sit back in place without moving. Read more
