This is for the Whirlpool in-wall double oven GBD307PDS10. No power and the door locked after the shutdown before the self-cleaning cycle was over. Unplugged the stove. I had to remove mounting screws from under front panel. Then Remove the side panels in order to remove the trim. Under the trim there are two gold screws that hold the front panel in place. Unplug the membrane switch and remove the 4 screws that hold it in place. mount the new membrane switch and use plug it in. Then replaced all screws. Plugged stove back in. First check to see how many leads your switch has before ordering - I ordered before I took things apart, and got an incorrect 2 lead version when I needed a 3. On starting the repair, at first thought I might have to take apart console - but happily, no. Could not level stove. Front leveling legs had pieces broken out where leg contacted floor. Back leveling legs were worn and did not stay at corrected height when stove returned to full weight on floor. Replaced both front and back leveling legs, and stove was able to be leveled. Also bought Touchup Paint for numerous nicks and scratches - color matched perfectly. Read more

Trial and error only cooktop unit. Everything mounted into the counter and needed to pull unit out. I figured it was a control switch or the burner itself. Based on costs, I took the less expensive route and replaced the 2 known malfunctioning switches. All on-line videos said it was a 2-3 hour process to replace.
