Could not level stove. Front leveling legs had pieces broken out where leg contacted floor. Back leveling legs were worn and did not stay at corrected height when stove returned to full weight on floor. Replaced both front and back leveling legs, and stove was able to be leveled. Also bought Touchup Paint for numerous nicks and scratches - color matched perfectly. Read more

I disassembled the top of the range and looked at the problem burner. It looked like there was a spark at all three other burners but not the problem burner. There was a visible spark at the connector between the wiring harness and the ceramic igniter but that spark wasn't making it up to the top of the igniter where it can light the burner. Simple. Just pulled out the old and popped in the new. Rangetop looks much better, though grates and burner rings (no longer available) could use repainting with heat resistant enamel or some other treatment. Read more

I ordered new elements and connection blocks, ripped out the old ones and installed the new ones. The ordered parts came in quickly and were exactly what I ordered. The most difficult part of the repair was cutting through the little screws that had rusted and corroded over the decades. Trial and error only cooktop unit. Everything mounted into the counter and needed to pull unit out. I figured it was a control switch or the burner itself. Based on costs, I took the less expensive route and replaced the 2 known malfunctioning switches. All on-line videos said it was a 2-3 hour process to replace. I finished mine in less than 30 minutes. Turned breaker back on and it works like a charm. 30 years old and still going strong. Read more

So after receiving my 2 door hinges, 2 days before est. delivery . All I had to do is take the oven door off, and then remove 4 screws to take the door apart, 4more screws to remove old hinges, replace w/new reassemble and put door back on oven, all in about 40 min. works like new again, Thanks for everything.
