This right-hand oven door hinge assembly supports and counterbalances the door so it opens smoothly and closes firmly against the gasket. Replacing a worn hinge restores proper alignment and heat retention for consistent cooking performance.
- Provides the pivot point and spring tension for the oven door
- Helps the door open smoothly and close completely for a tight seal
- Wear or damage can cause sagging, misalignment, or slamming/falling open
- Heat loss from a poor seal may lead to long preheat or temperature fluctuations
What's included: One right-hand door hinge assembly.
- Disconnect power and allow the oven to cool completely before servicing
- The hinge is spring-loaded—support the door and use care to avoid injury
- Remove the door per your model's instructions, then replace the right-side hinge
- After installation, adjust per service guidance if needed
Orientation note: Right-hand means the hinge on the door's right side when facing the appliance.

Oven door was difficult to remove and put back on Steve B. • Greensboro , NC • February 27, 2017
The door hinge latches were bent, which made it difficult to remove the door and re-insert. The door hinge design was changed from a pin insert to a latch from the previous model. Unfortunately, the latch on the 24 inch oven is thin and easily bent, which is likely the source of the problem. I purchased spare door hinges to facilitate re-installing the oven door should I ever have problems with removing and inserting the door again.
