This igniter is used in gas dryers to ignite the burner flame that heats the air inside the drum. It includes an attached wire harness for easy electrical connection. Replace this igniter if your gas dryer runs but does not produce heat, or if the burner fails to light consistently.
When I pulled out the dryer from the wall, I could see dust/lint had accumulated everywhere and the vent system was compromised. The replacement hinge unit arrived in just two days. The JennAire (Maytag) oven door is fairly typical in that it easily lifts off of the hinge bars. Once the door is off then removing two screws is all that's required to remove the hinge unit from the oven.
