Impeller cap that fits over the pump impeller to protect moving parts and help maintain proper water circulation. Replacing a cracked or missing cap helps reduce leaks and restore reliable pump performance. What it does:

  • Covers and protects the pump impeller from debris and direct contact.
  • Helps maintain correct water flow and impeller alignment inside the pump housing.
  • A damaged or missing cap can cause reduced circulation, noisy operation, or leaks near the pump area.
  • Small, inexpensive replacement that can prevent further pump damage when installed promptly.
What's included: One impeller cap. Install notes:
  • Disconnect power (and water if applicable) before accessing the pump area.
  • Access may require removing an access panel or lower kick plate; keep fasteners and panels organized.
  • Press the cap onto the impeller until fully seated; avoid forcing if resistance indicates other damage.
  • Inspect the impeller and nearby seals while replacing the cap; replace the pump assembly or seals if they show wear.
