New models of most stoves have two screws easily accessible from inside the oven door, but this older stove required the entire inner part of the oven door to be disassembled and the interior glass removed before the two screws that attach the handle can be accessed. The plastic piece on the handle where the screw goes in to hold glass door up had broke. I ordered new handle, the retainer pieces that go over the plastic pieces to lock it all in and screws that were suggested. The screws were the wrong ones. They were way too small. I already had one screw and thankfully only had to buy 1 new one because the screw was $40 and shipping’s $10 for it AND it’s on back order right now. I first DISCONNECTED POWER FROM THE RANGE using the breaker. I then pulled the range out from the wall to give myself plenty of working room. I lifted the range top up as when you clean under the burners. I then moved the ends of the bottom of the slide rods that lock the range top open back where they came loose from the top of the range. Removed side moldings top molding and glass, removed broken handle. Reinstalled new handle, all modings and glass. Read more

Purchased proper hinges. Lifted oven doors off the hinges. Removed screws securing the oven to the cabinet, then slid out the unit from the cabinet far enough to access the hinges. Then removed trim to better access the hinges. Then removed the screws holding the hinges. Then installed the new hinges, secured them with the screws, then reinstalled the trim, then slid the unit back into the cabinet, and secured it in place with the screws. Bought replacement relay board, replaced it. Would not work, turned stove circuit breaker off then on again. Display panel showed stove was resetting waited for reset, tested the bake option twice to ascertain it was working correctly. It worked!
