Replaced fuse. It took much longer to get the oven out of the wall to access the fuse and replace the front panel than to do the repair. This fuse failed at the end of the cleaning cycle for the bottom oven and left the door locked because the open fuse removed the 120v power from the control board. Replaced the hinge receiver with a new one. The old one was bent slightly inside where it could not be seen. I think someone pushed the door down to far or fell on it. 2 screws to remove it, take out storage drawer and reach up little ways to remove and replace the receiver. Replace the 2 screws. The receiver comes with 2 screws but I ordered an extra ( never used it ). The sides of the receiver were spread just a tiny bit but were enough to cause a problem. Read more

Range has no model ID plate anywhere. Flip off electric at circuit breaker box. Opened top of range and noted details of the faulty burner, including confirm that outer coil was fried. Replaced module: Although the new module was slightly different due to a third or ground terminal that was not on the original I managed to figured out that I did not need to worry about the ground since the existing wiring had already allowed for the connection. We replaced both front orifice holders. Very easy to bend and break. If it has a deep bend in it, It will slow down the gas flow to the burner. if you have a low gas flow your burner will burn low So check your small silver gas lines and if you smell gas check your lines Read more
