Ordered new cook top, arrived in 2days. Replacement was very easy. Part was perfect fit and had same markings as factory top. Repair only required a philips head screwdriver. Removed 8 screws holding top on, lifted front up and unplugged two electrical connectors, them removed top. Flipped top over and removed the four burners (8 screws). Moved burners to new top, installed 8 screws, set top on stove, reattach electrical connectors, then reinstall 8 screws to hold the top on. Only issue I... Read more

• Won't start

I have a Jenn-Air microwave that didn't turn on and had no lights. It just stopped working completely. I unplugged the unit and had to remove the rear cover using a *security screw kit* that prevents people from opening the rear panel. Once opened, I removed the fuse and testing it with an OHM reader to determine that the fuse went bad. • Door won't open or close

The replacement hinge unit arrived in just two days. The JennAire (Maytag) oven door is fairly typical in that it easily lifts off of the hinge bars. Once the door is off then removing two screws is all that's required to remove the hinge unit from the oven. The new hinge slides up into place and while you hold it up inside of its location putting the old screws back in is very easy. Changing out the stovetop orifices from natural gas to propane- First thing, turn off the gas. On this model stove, there are five burners-two burners in the front, two in the back and one in the middle. The front two burners are different than the other three, they are the largest burners. You can use a 11/32 socket with an extension to go down the middle hole of the burner and screw-out the natural gas orifices. Taking the orifices out was easy.
